Completely. The primary function of the Japanese toilet is water purification, combining the functions of a bidet and a toilet in a single bathroom unit in an innovative way.

In theory, using a smart toilet allows you to completely eliminate the need for toilet paper if the wash and dry cycles are completed (2 minutes and 3 minutes respectively). If the drying process isn't completed, you should supplement with toilet paper or a wipe, as with a bidet.

In the unlikely event that your toilet stops working, MIZUbath has spare parts in stock and a wide network of Technical Services throughout the country to resolve any issues. You can find more information in the Service section of our website.

Questions about using/installing Japanese toilets

Yes, all smart toilets require an electrical outlet to operate. This outlet is a standard outlet. It can be hidden behind the toilet or left out by installing a plug. All electrical connections are supplied with the toilet.

Our Rada and Rada Basic series floor-standing toilets feature a built-in cistern with a 4,2-liter capacity, eliminating the need for a separate cistern. The toilet flushes using this internal tank.

In the case of wall-hung toilets, the installation of a concealed cistern is necessary.

MIZUbath has tested its toilets with the leading brands of concealed cisterns on the market to ensure their suitability and supplies all necessary connecting parts along with the toilet.

No, the standard home installation is fine. You must have a power outlet near the toilet to power its electrical functions, and make sure the ground fault circuit breaker for the line you'll use to install the toilet isn't located within the bathroom.

All necessary components for a standard installation are supplied. If anything unusual arises, any professional installer can easily install it.

The Rada and Rada Basic toilets currently only have a vertical outlet, 210 mm from the wall (according to the Technical Building Code). We do not have a horizontal outlet, but we are working on a future development and will be able to provide more information soon.

If a horizontal outlet installation is required, we recommend installing a wall-hung toilet with an external frame module.

There are also extra-flat traps that allow you to move the drain to the wall with minimal work, which would in any case be covered by the toilet itself.

Questions about installing MIZUbath toilets

Absolutely, it's plug and play. The remote control comes pre-programmed to automatically connect to the toilet, so you don't have to do anything. It's ready to use as soon as it's plugged into a power outlet. It's even easier than using a TV. All our models have an option to remove the cannula for daily cleaning. Each model's user manual explains how to remove the cannula.
All of our nozzle heads can be easily removed once removed so they can be washed and any limescale that may have accumulated can be removed.

In fact, the water isn't cut off because it's more hygienic. This way, the cannula is washed before being removed, leaving it cleaner. To prevent further water flow, the cannula is retracted by pressing the stop button until it needs to be replaced, then removed and replaced.

If you have a floor-standing toilet from our Rada or Rada Basic series, you can flush the toilet normally, as our products have an internal battery that allows flushing. The flushing functions will not work, but you can still use the toilet as if it were a normal toilet.

If you have a wall-hung toilet, you can flush it normally, as it flushes through the built-in cistern. The electronic flushing functions won't work until the power is restored.

All our toilets have a sensor in the seat to detect the presence of a seated user. When activated, it allows the flushing functions to be used. This means that if a user is not detected, no flushing functions will be activated, avoiding these situations with little ones.

Questions about MIZUbath technical service

In the vast majority of cases, potential problems are resolved by flushing the toilet, without the need for our Technical Support Service.

Once our technical service has the spare part in stock, the normal time to complete the toilet repair is no more than 3 days.

In the event that a repair needs to be carried out by the service technician, the electronics of the smart toilet are removed, this is done at the end of the day so that the repair and installation can be completed the following day, minimizing the time you spend without being able to use your Mizubath Japanese toilet.
